President
Otey received his BA in journalism at LSU and looks surprisingly young and spry for someone who has been in the “biz” since the (very) early 80’s. He has won numerous creative and industry awards including being recognized as a member of the Baton Rouge Business Report’s “Top 40 Under 40” as well as the American Advertising Federation of Baton Rouge’s “Goldsby Lifetime Achievement Award.” While some “profess” to be sports fans, Otey White lives it. His work with NAPA Auto Parts affords him the ability to combine his love of sports with work and you may find him with clients taking in a Rays game during the summer, a Bears game during the winter and then back home on the weekend to coach one of his kids’ ball games. However, your best bet at finding Otey is cheering on his beloved LSU Tigers. When it comes to LSU, there are very few more dedicated, passionate fans. Otey’s easy going style, enthusiasm and competitive nature both affects and elevates the performance of his staff.
In fact, while Otey pushes for creative excellence, he also believes, “When people aren’t having any fun, they aren’t producing good advertising.” Hey, it’s worked since 1987! |
