A proud graduate of Louisiana State University, English earned his advertising degree in 1990 and over the years has been employed with some of the region’s top advertising and design firms. He has worked with such clients as NAPA Auto Parts, Bank One, Hancock Bank, Louisiana State University, Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, McDonald’s, Mississippi Power and Baton Rouge Area Foundation, as well as a host of state agencies and nonprofits.

In addition to many creative accolades, Mr. English has received numerous honors and awards in his career, including the Advertising Federation of Greater Baton Rouge’s “2007 Goldsby Lifetime Achievement Award,” Baton Rouge Business Report’s “Top 40 Under 40” and the AAF’s Seventh District “2002 Governor’s Award.”

English has also served in a variety of capacities in numerous community organizations, such as Forum 35, board member and past president; YWCA, racial dialogue facilitator; Advertising Federation of Greater Baton Rouge, board member and past president; Prevent Child Abuse Louisiana, communications advisory committee; adjunct professor in the Manship School of Mass Communications, LSU Alumni Board and the Advance Baton Rouge board of directors. When he’s not serving on boards and being active in the community, English likes to spend time with his beautiful wife and daughter, attend LSU sporting events and enjoy the outdoors. He also loves to cook and is a serious grill master who can be found most weekends preparing succulent meats and veggies on his Big Green Egg grill.
